Using One Microcontroller For Multiple Modules

The Microcontrollers


Because the ICs can be cascaded, it is possible to use one controller for multiple modules. This said, I recommend you buy the cheapest but logistically rather complex combination of modules and controllers:

Share one microcontroller for:
  1. the MCP
  2. the MIP
Share one microcontroller for:
  1. the FWD Overhead
  2. the AFT Overhead
 Share one microcontroller for:
  1. the Radios
  2. the Pedestal
However, it is definitely possible and most likely easier to use one microcontroller for every module.
